They're on my list! I think they are the last set I need to PL - I was a bit intimidated by the big pile and left them to last!

That would be great, Kate! Actually the character's name is Mrs. Harmon Andrews so the line is correct--I think in Avonlea, there's more than one Andrews family, so they might have Mrs. Joe Andrews, Mrs. Peter Andrews, etc., and they do sometimes refer to a wife as Mrs. [husband's first name]. Different times, right?

Would you like me to introduce the character as 'Mrs Harmon Andrews' or just 'Mrs Andrews'?

Julia, it looks like Mrs. Douglas was claimed further up the thread by jtmartinsen's wife. Can I interest you in Mrs. Skinner instead?

Chapter 8: the intro only says "This is a Librivox recording" I thought the short version was "This Librivox recording is in the public domain" (it is correct in Chapters 7 and 9) Sorry I didn't pick this up earlier - I see Chapter 8 is fully edited already...

sorry, I am sure Mrs. Skinner is heaps of fun, but I can't do lower-class English accents/pronounciations - I would sound ridiculous... (imagine the queen trying to sound street

Please accept my apologies. My wife and I were mistaken on the parts of Mr. & Mrs. Douglas. L. Martinsen would like to bow out and have Ms. Julia read Mrs. Douglas if she likes. I will still read Mr. Douglas. Sorry for the confusion.
