Sorry, I didn't see this post. I have two files to upload; should have that done by tomorrow. Thanks for following up on this. Also, I am really bad at keeping the ID3 tags consistent, so I apologize in advance.

I can easily fix tags during cataloguing; don't worry about it. Will listen shortly.

Keep going! :)

PL OK! Title tag incorrect, but I'll fix that.

I uploaded without selecting MC for the second file, so I re-uploaded. Hope that doesn't clutter the uploader closet.

I'm not sure what the uploader does if you don't specify an MC. It might just ditch the file. I'd much rather have a warning if you don't select it, but Tis is working hard enough as it is...

I'm house sitting, so I will try and get the very last bit recorded. Hooray for friends that vacation!

Here is the Jack London Intro:

http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/jc/twoyearsbeforethemast_49_dana.mp3
11' 53 duration, 10.8 MB Filesize

It is found in http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/1669

Your blurb could add something like: "Jack London, who followed Dana by half a century, wrote an introduction to a later edition of _Two Years Before the Mast_. London had some sailing experience as well as a well-known novel _The Sea Wolf_, a nautical story and would have been a natural choice. We have appended that introduction, narrated by a different reader. "

If you want me to make any changes to the narration, just let me know. If you decide not to use it, please let me know that as well and I will submit it to short stories or some such. You wouldn't have to even say why. tc
Re-inventing the wheel is not a waste of time if, when you get done, you understand why it is round.

I am editing! V-e-r-y slowly, as I am also learning to drive, trying to work, and looking into collage at the very same time, but those are excuses. To public domain and beyond!

This is chapter 36. Apparently my password to the bc admin no longer works. (Cue sad music) I wondered if it was because of that hacker fellow some time ago. (cue sinister music)

catchpenny - I'm not sure if JC is around much anymore. I've read your last couple posts. I'll PM you your new password to the MW. It was changed after the hacker attack. That is probably why you can't get in. :)

Also, what's the deal with TomCrawford's submission? Is this now a duet of sorts? We'll have to finagle things to add him in as a reader.
