Phúlmati Rání: repeat 2:20

When they arrived there they pitched a tent in her compound, and they used to walk about, and whenever they saw the Phúlmati Rání they looked at her.

Hi Nathan!

Thanks a lot! :D

Please also provide the following information:

• Author (birth year - death year)
• Translator if applicable (birth year - death year)
• Source from which you read (i.e. Gutenberg etext url)
• Length in minutes and size in MB of your file
• If this is your first Librivox recording, I will also need your name as you would like it to appear on the catalogue page and the URL of your homepage if you have one and would like it linked to your name on the catalogue page.

Hi Ellie

I'm working on adding that information now; I'm assuming you'd like the source URL and Potter's date of birth and death included in the recording, and not just typed out?

As far as information for me, if my name could be shown as Nathan John, and a link to my Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/nathanfuture, that would be great! As an aside, I am hoping to set up an audiobook YouTube page with a friend of mine, so eventually I can give you think link to that too!

Thanks
:) Nathan John :)

Hi Nathan!

Do not add the information to the recording. I only need it typed out. It will later be added to the catalog page of this collection. (Here is an example of how it should look like: viewtopic.php?p=666230#p666230 )

I've added your name and URL. Here is your Catalog page: https://catalog.librivox.org/people_public.php?peopleid=7025 (You can find it by clicking your name in the MW.)

Hi everybody,

I've just recorded a chapter of "Stories of Don Quixote" by James Baldwin for this lovely collection.
I've tried to upload it but the upload URL didn't work. Is it temporarily down or has the URL changed?

Have a nice weekend,
Eva

Okay, so the uploader was up again - just ignore my previous post. :)

As said, I've recorded the following piece:

Title: Chapter 1 "Getting ready for Adventures" from "Stories of Don Quixote"
Author: James Baldwin (1841-1925)
Source: http://www.mainlesson.com/display.php?author=baldwin&book=quixote&story=adventures
Length: 12:14 min
File: http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/avs/childrensshortworks015_donquixote_eh.mp3

I hope I got the Spanish names right... Is it okay to just record the first chapter?

Hi Ellie,
I have corrected and re-uploaded Phúlmati Rání, or The Flower Lady.
I was not sure if I was supposed to repost the link, so here it is (with revised duration/size)

Hi Eva!

Thanks a lot! :D

(Hmmm, I guess it's ok to use just one chapter out of a book, as long as the story is more or less complete in itself.)

Hi Noel!

Thanks a lot! :D

(If you reupload the section using the same filename it will be automatically replaced. So there is no real need to re-post the link. A note in the thread that you have fixed the recording suffices. It's only necessary to post the duration again if it has changed... )

Edit: Phúlmati Rání (spot checked) is PL:OK!!!

The tale of Peter Rabbit: Great reading! :D

There are just a few things that need fixing:
There is some background noise in your recording and the volume is a little low. It would be great if you could amplify your recording and do some noisecleaning.

2:05 stumble
Mr. McGregor came up with a sieve, which he intended to pop upon the top of Peter;

2:35 stumble
And tried to put his foot upon Peter, who jumped out of a window, upsetting three plants.

3:15 stumble
An old mouse was running in and out over the stone doorstep, carrying peas and beans to her family in the wood.

The silence at the end should be 5 secs. Please make the necessary changes and reupload your recording using the same filename
