May I have the voice of Sir Percy for chapters 11, 13, 17, 25-28 and 30 please?

I'll try to match the previous reader's voice, tho' I may not *quite* get there, as it is rather distinctive.

:)

Thanks Arden,

You are welcome to keep the voice distinctly yours. No need to imitate anyone voice. Just be you.

Thanks!

Jason

I think there might be a bit of a mix-up as to the cast of characters in two of my chapters. In Chapters 11 and 13, the text highlight shows Sir Percy speaking ALL of His Royal Highness, the Duke of Wales' part. HRH is not listed in the cast...

in Chapter 13, there actually isn't anything at all for Sir Percy, except for the scrap of note Marguarite reads. Is that narration, or done in Sir Percy's voice?

help! :)

and thanks!
df

PS - if you want me to do HRH, I can... there's not much...

df,

Thanks. You can read the part for HRH is you like. Sorry about my mistake there. Lets leave the note as narration for now.

Thanks,

Jason

Chapter 22 narration, redone. This needs to be completely PL'ed as it's an entirely new file.

Hope they've OK - if it is too far over the top, do let me know and I will tone it down a bit.

I don't think it is over the top at all! However, there are a couple words missing in chapter 11.

"Monseigneur," rejoined Chauvelin, bowing once again. "Madame," he
added, bowing ceremoniously before Marguerite.

Many thanks! Todd

NO, Jason. I am NOT the one doing all the work. I am treating this like an apprenticeship to learn how to set up (wow - all that great pre-work you did in highlighting the text files and breaking up the chapters and parts for the Magic Window!), ride herd on the many months of reader inputs, and then finally put together a finished dramatic reading.

And though I think I am getting much better at it as I go along, the chapter files I have assembled and uploaded here so far definitely need your good help to
1) get smooth and flowing gaps and dramatic pauses between the voices and narration
2) to get right volume and dynamics balance between the various reader parts as they are merged together

I'm told that the loss-free FLAC files I've uploaded will let you carry on through the final editing without having to accept an extra mp3 conversion loss by my added draft assembly stage being inserted into the usual process. (The mp3 files I've uploaded really have no purpose except for listening temporarily to via a media-player program without using Audacity.) I also uploaded label text files I created - in my Audacity 1.3.13, you can create/import/export text labels and synchronize/lock them to the audio track and then see where all the character words got cut into the narration files - and I can't imagine how you keep things straight doing assembly without such labels! (I even use them just when editing my own reading input files.)

And by listening to all the fine readers inputs to this book I've learned a whole bunch that will improve my character and narration inputs to other projects! Or set me some more unrealistically high goals to try to match someday!

Thank you! Todd

(I have liked this dramatic assembly stuff enough to have now offered a Moliere play over in the latest One Act Play collection. No general narration text such as a book has, just lotsa character parts to pull together once all recorded....)
