How about an instruction book on welding? This little gem is only 87 pages in wordpad font size 12; 49,716 words.

Now admit it, Esther. You only suggested it because you had that wonderful smiley.

Actually I do have ulterior motives.... I want my son to become a welder.

He is seriously looking at courses at the college level and I thought this a good primer for him. He is NOT a reader so this would certainly help him if he reads along with the recordings. :D

Any volunteers? ;)

Esther :)

ps went looking for the smilie after posting. ;)

Hehe. I found this one a couple months ago when I was searching for something 'riveting' for the Insomnia collection. I considered reading a chapter or table from it.

Well, if there is enough interest, I could BC it.... maybe. ;)

If you do decide to BC it, please reserve Chapter 6 for me. It's my 'riveting' chapter. I promise to read with a bit more enthusiasm than I had planned for the Insomniacs. :D

Yes, we can't have you sending Esther's son to sleep. That is NOT the idea...

They actually don't rivet much anymore. My ex is an Ironworker/welder which is where my son gets it. It's such a versatile trade. One can do many different specialties once one knows how to weld.

A friend's son had a motorcycle accident when a young adult and his legs where pretty badly damaged. He now works welding UNDER WATER! Legs are not as important and the money/danger pay is pretty good. :? (Don't want my son doing that though)
