YES, I KNOW - JUST ONE MORE CHAPTER! I have never read this book before and I eagerly await finding out what happens.

I tried not to let the actual plot and turn of events sink in as I briefly pre-scanned the text to find words I need to ask/figure out in advance how to pronounce. (Lest I, as normal, have to read 3 or more versions of each messy paragraph as my recorder runs on and on and on and then, after upload into my computer, I have to splice together the salvageable parts of each try into an acceptable submittal.) That there is a sequel to this book (I'm already signed up!) gives me hope that my favorite characters will survive the next 12 pages!!

Will D'Artagnan survive, and with his honor intact? NO - DON'T TELL ME! I will know before this weekend!

Great! Now no further reason for procrastination in doing my readings for Ten Years After, unless of course it is to take time listen to all the chapters I didn't read in this one!

(Query: how many people do listen to books they are part of? Having read the last chapter I know how it ends - it'll be like a Columbo show where the interest is in how it gets to what you know it will....)

Well, I couldn't tell... I myself don't usually listen to the whole book. But as I have read this book, I would suggest you to read it, because it's great!
