I've added your corrections and re uploaded the file as http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/arb/histengljames19_01_macaulay.mp3 20:25 long - Carolin will be along to PL it.
Great job with the corrections - and leaving a space before you repeated something - if that is all you have to edit you are a very careful reader . I have asked someone else to check out the hum for me - , I don't trust my hearing, so I have doen a rough fix on this and will talk about it later.

i found some very small stumbles. anne is right, you are a really great reader!
1:50 his success wa-was imperfect
13:35 but- and have turned his arms westward
13:50 visions of a triumphant empry-entry
17:35: and the - and england can bear the charge of the army
i do see the problem with the hum that you mentioned. i thought you were talking about background noise so i plugged in my earphones to listen more closely, but as it is your voice that is distorted for some reason, it hurt my ears. the reason is easy to see in audacity. almost all of the peaks are clipped! you can make clipping show prominently by clicking on view > show clipping. almost all of the track that im looking at now is red. if the recording is too loud, it distorts your voice and causes the hum we hear. was it like that when you recorded it, or did it happen during amplification? do you perhaps still have a copy of the recording before editing?
i do hope we can fix this one way or another, you did an excellent job with the reading
CK
eta: the volume is 105 db.
EDIT Anne
- Thats my fault - it was a bit quiet and I've asked Ruths advice about the hum so I was planning to re amplify it after I used her technique , but thought it might as well be PLed first - So don't worry Bill - it was not you it was me

One day at a time, no excuse not to rhyme
Here is the corrected section 02. My apologies for the delay! I thought I had already re-uploaded, but, alas, had not.

I've done a bit of orphaning on the earlier uncatalogued chapters - so current state is now
Chapter 17 - viewtopic.php?f=26&t=32261 has 3 sections available and I have moved it back to readers wanted.
Anne
Only 1 left unclaimed now in 17

Here is part 1 of Section 7. My computer turned off after 15:30. Part 2 will follow. At about 8:30 I made a mistake, paused and then reread the sentence "While the bill which first created. . . I noticed an annoying hum, less in part 2 because I was closer to the mike? If you would like me to redo this part, please advise. Bill McGovern
