Thanks Mike.

How long is the recording, just so I can put that in the notes field?

I'd like to offer my services to read Section 5. Besides being a work of interest, it is one I think there should be more access to. I see that it has many incomplete sections. Since this would be my first offering I thought I'd start with one section. If it goes well and to your liking I will be more than happy to read other sections as well.

Thank you.

Hi Mandarax.

Apologies for the delay: I have now signed you up.

As this is your first section for LibriVox: firstly a very warm welcome and secondly, please could you consider doing a one minute test before getting down to your recording proper. This tends to save people a lot of time and effort, because it allows technical problems to be identified early so avoiding the need for re-records or heavy editing. Thanks.

Please orphan sections 20-22. I'm just no good at reading anything, and I wouldn't want to mar this project.

Hi Nullifidian,

Of course I'll orphan the sections if that's what you want.

If you've encountered criticism for your reading somewhere, though, I wouldn't take it to heart. I listened to your recording of Equal Opportunity in Education and I thought it was very well done. Well paced, carefully delivered and you have a pleasant voice.

So you're welcome to reclaim if you change your mind.

Cheers,
Carl.

I'm afraid I have to orphan chapter 7, never got to doing it. Won't be possible for me to record it in the next 2 months or so, but I'll come back and check on this project when I'm ready to start recording again.

Hi Dinosaur and thanks for volunteering.

We normally ask newbies to start with a one-minute test, which helps to sort out any difficulties with people's audio setup before they start.

You can find instructions on that here.

Cheers,
Carl.

Hi, I'd like to claim section 06. : )

ETA: I see that the person above me had already claimed that one, though it hadn't made it into the table yet. I'll change my mind and take section 19, then!
