Okay, I'll DPL. ;)

Section 9 is PL OK. Note: your ID tags don't show up on my Windows computer because they're of a higher version than Windows can read, I guess. So in future, people may say you are missing ID tags. Also, it's up to you if you want to change this, but "Geoffrey" is usually pronounced like "Jeffrey" - it's just an alternate spelling. :)

Section 32 "The Angler"

(Am I supposed to post here when I am done, or do you get some other notification?)

Oh, and I am using the latest Audacity (1.3.13-beta) that downloaded
when I went looking for it on my Linux machine. The ID codes appear
to be ok when I enter them. Maybe the newer version of Audacity?
Should I be saving as some older flavor of mp3? I'm not sure if that
is possible or how to do it.

Yes, you're supposed to post here. Also please post the file duration.

Don't worry about changing your setup for the ID tags. Just be aware that if anyone says your ID tags aren't there, that they simply aren't seeing them. ;)

Section 2 - very well read!

5:16 - a long pause: cut down to about 1 second?

6:04 - another longish pause

7:51 - longish pause with clicks and mouth noises

8:26 - anothe longish pause

Very strong S sounds throughout. You'll want to experiment with mic placement to alleviate these, or try de-essing the file: http://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/De-Essing_Files

Section 32: PL OK. Note that in future, the title ID tag should have the section number as well, i.e. "32 - The Angler" :)

I want to volunteer to record sections 33 & 34, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.

I grew up in Tarrytown and this story was part of my upbringing. Every year we were taken to Washington Irving's home, Sunnyside.

Section 02 with the pauses modified:
http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/tg/geoffreycrayon_02_irving.mp3
Length of file is 16:08

I had no success with the de-ess process. SPITFISH.dll is in the plug-in folder all right, but nothing pertinent shows in the Effect tab.
