Is anyone or anything keeping track of how many times each book gets downloaded?

Files downloaded through our catalogue pages also get counted at archive.org, but I *think* that's a recent development, so there are a lot of past downloads not counted.

Also, this doesn't count bittorrents, ebay sales, etc. But it's as good as we can get. :D
There's honestly no such thing as a stupid question -- but I'm afraid I can't rule out giving a stupid answer : : To Posterity and Beyond!

FNH -- Go look yourself up on Ebay if you haven't already. It's weird the first time you see one of yours there, then you start trolling through their feedback to see if anybody has actually bought yours yet... sad.

Oh ya Ebay... I sold for $6 US hee hee. Its so funny.

Then you start doing a google search on your project name and put "audiobook" behind it and find all sorts of ways you show up on the net.

heh - I see two different (presumably stores) on eBay selling my Dream Days solo. One sells for $12.00 (and has a cred to Librivox at the bottom of its page), and the other prices me at a whopping.... $1.99.

Is the data availble somewhere on the LV site to see how many times a a certain file has been downloaded?

Once the books are finished the files are all stored at Archive - they do have a download counter at the bottom of each book page which gives a fairly rough idea.

30 solo recordings, 527,301 downloads according to Archive. If I even had ten cents each...

I remember my first solo, and seeing that 640 people had downloaded it I thought that was so cool.
