Time to start recording some more children's lit for my podcast -- A Little Princess by Frances Hodgson Burnett. One of my favorite books of all time. I'll try to have it done by December 31. It's going to be hard to read without getting choked up and weepy, though :)

I have just finished listening to your wonderful reading of A Little Princess by Frances Hodgson Burnett! It has inspired me join this forum just so that I can post here to thank you. I will recommend this site, and your reading of this book in particular, to my family and friends, many of whom have little daughters. I am uncle to two of them and was delighted at some of the parallels, "the rich, bachelor uncle". Well, bachelor anyway, heh.

I tutor young people, particularly those who are struggling with learning English. I was looking for web sites that had stories that could be read and listened to at the same time for their benefit when I stumbled upon Librivox. Perhaps in time I can contribute to this beautiful effort in some way.

Again, thank you, and I look forward to more of your readings.

Steel -- comments like yours make the whole project worthwhile. I'm so glad you've enjoyed Sara's story. It's always been a huge favorite of mine.

My son has just requested "The Secret Garden" -- also by F.H. Burnett -- so you might be able to hear that one, too, in a couple of months.

Let us know if there are any particular public domain books your students would like to hear!

I noticed that the Pilgrimms Progress is not yet listed under "completed books", buts thats probably because you?re at it at this very moment.

You sound stressed after this little mishap. Don?t be! Plenty of time for this, days, weeks....

It's just a bit disconcerting to have deleted an entire catalog page on my first endeavor! But I won't stress about it. If anything, now I know I can fix my own goof ups! Pilgrim's Progress is on its way soon.
