I'm getting ready to read section one, but this is the first time I have begun the readings. Do I read the dedication? Is there anything else that I should read to begin besides the title and author?

No I would not read the dedication. Just go into the normal routine with a chapter.
Which for this chapter would be:
Chapter One of Two Little Knights of Kentucky. - This is a LibriVox recording. All LibriVox recordings are in the public domain. For more information, or to volunteer, please visit: librivox DOT org"
# If you wish, say:
"Recording by [your name]"
# Say:
" Two Little Knights of Kentucky, by Annie Fellows Johnston. Chapter One. Two Tramps and a Bear".
Thanks and have fun!
here is the recording of chapter 7.

Chapter 8 has been orphaned (for the second time )
If interested in claiming, please note that a quick turnaround is requested, as this is the last chapter, and we are already past the target completion date.

I read the section 07 earlier and was interested to read the last chapter too, and sometimes God do listen!m8b1 wrote:Chapter 8 has been orphaned (for the second time )

So, I recorded and uploaded section 08 without claiming it. Hope that is OK.
