My sincerest and most heartfelt thanks and appreciation and praise and admiration and respect and a great blessing for the excellent reading of "John Barleycorn" by Peter Kelleher.  Your hard work to produce this audio book has changed my life forever and your voice will be with me forever.  You are a great reader.  I love your voice.

Praise for Lynne_C (Lynne Carroll) via the 'Thank a reader' feature:
Many, many thanks to Lynne for a remarkable reading of
http://librivox.org/letters-of-a-woman-homesteader-by-elinore-pruitt-stewart/
Every word has its weight, the accent is perfect, and the absolutely amazing text shines through.  This is really first rate, and I will deliberately seek out anything she reads.

Many thanks to Bernard for his superbly dramatic yet understated reading
of:

http://librivox.org/a-lombre-des-jeunes-filles-en-fleur-by-marcel-proust-0905/

Ce lecture est tres sympathique avec l'esprit de Marcel Proust. Je
remercie M Bernard aussi pour la clarte de sa prononciation.

Praise for Clive Catterall via the 'Thank a reader' feature:
Hi, just like to say I really enjoyed the reading of the White Company (Sir Arthur Conan Doyle) by Clive Catterall. I've listened to a few audio books now and this has been the best one so far. Nice fluid reading with the right emphasis and characterisation. I've read the book a couple of times and I think Clive has captured it just right.

Keep up the good work.

Regards,
Chris D

Praise for THynes (Tadhg) via the 'Thank a reader' feature:
I would just like to say how much I have enjoyed this reading of Thomas Hardy by Tadgh. The clarity and pacing made it a delight to listen to, and I look forward to more by this reader and his lovely accent!

Praise for Sandra (Sandra in Wales, United Kingdom) via the 'Thank a reader' feature:
Dear Sandra,

I happened to go over the Librivox catalog tonight and noticed the Thank a Reader link, which allows listeners to send message to the readers of the book.  I wanted to let you know how much I appreciate listening to you reading this marvelous book.  You accent, ability to switch between the characters and clear reading makes it so much more enjoyable to listen to these stories.  It truly brings it alive. I have been listening to quite a few of them lately and your reading was the first inspiration that evoked this feeling to reach out and thank a reader.  I am still not done with this book, but am looking forward to listening to The Sea hawk.
Thanks so much for participating in this program.
Sincerely,
Eyal P.

Rachel,

You can e-mail me here: samstinson42@gmail.com I'm almost finished with the entire set (lacking only five OT books). If you'd like to e-mail me your address, I'd be glad to send it out to you when it's done.

Regards,

Sam

Sam,

I have been listening to your American Standard Version readings of the bible.  It really was your reading that begun my journey in a major way.  I just began by listening to Matthew chapter 5 over and over and over again about a year and a half ago.  The way you read really helps me to truly understand the bible better.  Thank you for what you do.  Thank you.  Do you have a CD set I could purchase of the bible reading so I could listen in my car?  I have full bible reading CD set however the reader makes it more confusing to me the way he reads.

Here is the link to one of the readings.

Praise for GordMackenzie (Gordon Mackenzie) via the 'Thank a reader' feature:
Gordon Mackenzie,
Thank you for reading some of Frankenstein, at librivox.org! There were several
readers involved in the recording, and you get the "award" for best reader out of them all!
Your voice has such a nice tone to it--just right for listening to reading aloud.
Because of you, my "reading" of Frankenstein was not boring or overexciting but perfect.
Thank you again, and may you read some more at Librivox! Sincerely, Rebekah

Praise for Lucy_k_p (Lucy Perry) via the 'Thank a reader' feature:
Hello Lucy,

I'm Kalvin F. from Christian Record Services for the Blind. I was wanting to know if you are the same voice that did the Pilgrams Progress for public domain. You did a great job and have an interesting voice. I like it - keeps me listening.

I work in the recording studio every day recording audio books as voice talent comes in and reads for me. Thought I would get in touch with you and let you know your doing a great job. Keep up the good work.

I would be interested in hearing your best sounding work. I know the Pligrams Progress (providing you did that as well) sounds like you had a bit better mic and room to record in? What do you use to record with now?

Thanks for your time,
Kalvin

Praise for MichelleHarris via the 'Thank a reader' feature:
Dear Michelle --

I simply loved listening to every second of your narration of "The Job" by Sinclair Lewis. Part of the reason I looked forward to listening each evening as I craft was your voice. It was so well done, and I hope you will continue to do single narration of books. That is, I hope you will work as sole narrator of books, as single narrators are so much easier to listen to than multiple ones.

Thanks,
Mary
