I'll need directions as well.

I'll probably print off the play for myself - I can't imagine reading it off a small screen.

I'll be bringing several old palm pilots and an ereader in my bag of tricks for reading the text.

I'm THIS CLOSE to offering to make lemon squares. I have a real taste for them.

catchpenny - I'd say you could join us, but the distance might be a little prohibitive. :P

It looks like, per Google Maps, the traveling time from Barrie to David's is about the same as from my place to David's. That's pretty cool.

Unless there are objections, I'm going to aim to leave here around 9:00 to get there about 10:15-10:30, depending on traffic. Too early? Okay?

We just found out today that a friend from Edmonton is doing a concert in Milton Friday night. We will be catching a Motel somewhere between Milton and Brampton so 10:30 arrival will work for us.

Guess I will have to try the lemon bars some other time.

My dad was taken to hospital yesterday and admitted. He has lung cancer and is fighting off pneumonia right now and I really should not leave the area as mom needs rides to the hospital and my oldest son is coming to town.

As sad as this is, dad has had a good life. He is 84 and survived the depression, WWII (-during the occupation of Holland by the Germans), being a soldier in Indonesia and raising 2 challenging kids. (oh and smoking 2 packs a day for 60 years before he quit).

Oh, wow. I'm sorry, Esther. Even if he has had a full life, it's still difficult.
