Following the Christmas books thread in the Book Suggestions forum, I would like to record Baum's A Kidnapped Santa Claus which can be found at:

This is a short story and I can probably turn it around within the week.

The gutenberg file is a little over 7 pages long in html format on my computer. So I'm guessing that the recording time will be somewhere between 10-15 minutes. It originally ran in a magazine. I'll post in Tina's thread just to let folks over there know that it might be a possibility.

Judy, I'll either MC this for you as a solo, or add it to the Christmas collection, depending on the finished length.

Hi Tina, I recorded Kidnapped SC today and after editing, I think it will come in somewhere between 15-20 minutes (shorter than the average Mansfield Park chapter!). Let me know how you'd like to use it. I will try to send it with pando if you can tell me to where I should send it. regards, J.

Hi Tina,

I finished Kidnapped Santa Claus. Recorded time is 21:56. If that is too long for the Christmas collection, just stick it in short works at your convenience. I am sending via pando. Let me know if it comes through ok and if there are any problems that need fixing.
