This is a massive list of 15,000 phrases broken into eleven categories. I have broken down the list into 60-100 phrase sections. Time commitment is approx. 5-10 minutes per section making this an excellent project for the beginning LibriVox reader.

To find a section to record, simply look at point 5. below at the sections. All the ones without names beside them are “up for grabs.” Click Post Reply at the top left of the screen and tell us which section you’d like to read (include the section number from the left-most column in the reader list, please). Read points 6. to 8. below for what to do before, during and after your recording. - New to recording?

This project does not have a target date, but please try to send your recordings as soon as you can. If you cannot do your section, for whatever reason, just let us know and it’ll go back to the pool. There’s no shame in this; we’re all volunteers and things happen. - Where do I find the text?

- Do not read the definitions in the text (displayed in square brackets)
- Do not use Audacity's Noise Removal feature without saving a copy of the original... as this feature generally stinks and you'll want to be able to easily revert back to the original version.
- Please pronounce Kleiser with a long "I" sound (like Klyser) (Audio Pronunciation)
- If you need help pronouncing any of the words, try looking them up at http://m-w.com (they have audio pronunciations) or http://dictionary.com ... you are also welcome to ask for help in this thread =)

Add the following tags to your .mp3 file (how you do this depends on which software you use – if you are unsure about ID3 tags, send me a message). Please mind upper and lower case!

You may ignore tags for Genre and Track Number - these will be filled in automatically at the cataloguing stage.
