Some help will be appreciated. MH
Looks like you've managed the upload now. I'm downloading for PL. Please see the instructions in the first post of this thread, and post the other details as outlined there: file duration, text source, author and title of story, etc. See Simon's post just above, to see what we need.
As for how to get file duration, right-click (or control-click on a Mac) the file and you'll see something like 'Info', or 'Get details.' Go there and you should see the duration. Or put the file into a player, you should see the duration there, too. Lastly, your sound editor (the software you used for recording) shows the recording time, too. Hope this helps.
OK, since the story was recorded by Joey before, I had all the details.
PL is fine except for one pause - please see notes in the Magic Window and let me know if you'd like to edit. Thanks! Nice reading.

Hi!!!
I followed the links to suggested works and found this Wilkie Collins story but I think it's gonna be twice as long as recommended ... do I have to give it up?
Title: The Dream Woman
Word Count: 21,342
Thanx.

Hi there,
You don't have to give it up! If it's too long to be included here, we'll just catalogue it on its own. Basically this would be a normal, albeit short, solo project. Please head over to the New Projects Launch Pad and see the FAQ there for posting solo works.

Please delete my version of the OBLONG BOX since an earlier version preceded mine and since mine needs editing. Replace same with the stories I have just submitted. Thanks much. MM

Really? That would be a shame. We welcome multiple versions at LibriVox. The edit is a trifle, just one quick cut, I can do it for you.
Tell you what, why don't I keep it on my computer for inclusion in the next volume of mystery short stories - that way we don't have two the same, and your work won't have been in vain.
Please let me know.
