Joey, I need your name or pseudonym for the catalogue, please. Also, your filename was missing initials (real or from your pseudonym), if you give them to me, I can edit the filename.

Joey, your story was lovely and so was the reading. There were, however, quite a number of little stumbles, hesitations, and repeats in there. Nothing major, but all easily editable just by cutting out tiny bits. Since I had the file open, I took the liberty to correct these myself - is that okay? If not, I still have your original file saved and you could edit yourself - in that case I'll send you my list of PL comments. Just LMK what you'd like to do. :)

Hope we'll get more recordings from you!

Our aim is to record all public domain texts. So yes, it does bear recording. :)

Publishing your email address is really not a good idea. You'll get lots of spam as public forums are crawled by spambots. Let me know and I'll remove yours by editing the post (you can do it yourself on your own post if you like).

I don't understand why you can't find responses. Just go back to the place you've posted and check. If you don't remember where you've posted, go to your Profile, you can see link to all your posted messages there. If I'm failing to understand your problem, please tell me.

Looks like you've managed the upload now. I'm downloading for PL. Please see the instructions in the first post of this thread, and post the other details as outlined there: file duration, text source, author and title of story, etc. See Simon's post just above, to see what we need.

As for how to get file duration, right-click (or control-click on a Mac) the file and you'll see something like 'Info', or 'Get details.' Go there and you should see the duration. Or put the file into a player, you should see the duration there, too. Lastly, your sound editor (the software you used for recording) shows the recording time, too. Hope this helps.
