I also just listened to section 14, The Monkey's Paw and it's PL OK except there's five and a half minutes of silence at the end of the file.

There's also about five seconds of silence after the reader says his name at the intro and before the reading of the story,

These are not major problems a little editing will fix this fine.

Fine reading! The reader used the Gutenberg text of the story. not the Gaslight link.

Betty

Here is a story, that will hopefully complete this collection!

The story is on Gutenberg:

http://www.gutenberg.org/etext/23308

Here's the file:

http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/lz/ghohor009_whitefeatherhex_peterson_ds.mp3

Length of the story is: 29:43

I may have over-produced this one to attempt to make up for using lesser quality equipment, so let me know if there are issues! Thanks,

Dennis

Sorry, on the above post I didn't put the title and author's name down! I know I was forgetting something.

It's The White Feather Hex, by Tom Peterson.

Thanks,

Dennis

Thanks, Dennis - I've entered it into the MW. Now we just need to get that PL-ed and we're all set.

Hi John,
No problem - I've just decided to add a section, so now there'll be 16 stories to the collection :D Of course a new collection will be opened soon, but why stick rigidly to 15, right?
Thanks for the contribution - we'll get this PL-ed too.

I've PL'ed section 15 The White Feather Hex and it is PL OK!

It sounded dramatic and perfectly fine to me, Dennis. :)

If no one else proof listens to the Poe story before tomorrow night, I can PL the Tell Tale Heart by Monday!

Edit!

I started listening to the Telltale Heart and I couldn't stop till I listened to the whole story! Fabulously read! PL OK!!

These new readers have been outstanding! :9:

This collection is ready to be cataloged.

Cheers,
Betty

Thank you so much, Betty!!
I'm not sure how much time I'll have in the next few days, but I'll work on the cataloging.

This project is now complete! All audio files can be found on our catalog page: http://librivox.org/short-ghost-and-horror-collection-009/

Finally got around to finishing all the details on this one - but now it's done!

As always with a collection, I might have slipped up somewhere and mixed up names & recordings - let me know if you find any mistakes :)
