Did you catch my post earlier? I edited and re-uploaded chapter 8.
Patrick

Enjoy Tom Swift? Perhaps you would enjoy a book about him meeting up with some Diamond Makers
Or perhaps you'd rather talk about music with children.

All, FYI -- I apologize for my absence from LibriVox. I have been clearing my parents' house for the estate sale and upcoming listing of the house. The end of these sad tasks is in sight, and I will be able to record my chapter very soon.

Thanks for your patience.

Hello,
my name is Sandra, (catalogue name Sandra G), and I'd like to record 05- Abbreviations, Signs, etc. (continued) and 22- Appendix B- Musical Instruments
I can have them recorded within a month. Is that too long? (I'm aware that the original deadline has passed).
All the best,
Sandra.

Since the book was published in New York first, to all appearances, and Karl Gehrkens was an American, the "rule of the shorter term" is invoked for people recording in Britain. This means that copyright protection has lapsed for this work in the UK, even though Gehrkens died in 1975.

I hope this helps. :)

Yay! Does that mean that I can record the two sections?

I'm learning so much about copy rite!

Great thanks. I've just downloaded the book so, as I said several posts ago, I'll record it within this next month.

All the best,
Sandra.
