I can write and post a summary later today. Have to go teach a class first.

Here's my stab at a summary:

The Oresteia is a trilogy by Aeschylus, one of the foremost playwrights of ancient Greece. It encompasses three plays: Agamemnon, The Libation Bearers, and The Furies. It tells the tragic tale of the House of Atreus, whose inhabitants have been cursed and are doomed to play out their bloody, vengeful destinies. At the beginning of the first part, the Trojan War has ended and the Greek general, Agamemnon, is returning victorious to his wife Clytemnestra. Yet she finds it difficult to forgive his sacrifice of their daughter, Iphigenia, who was killed to ensure the Greek fleet fair winds in their voyage to Troy. Her desire for vengeance, and its dire consequences, instigates the action of these poetic tragedies. (Summary by Elizabeth Klett)

I hope that's okay. Please feel free to change/edit as needed.

I've uploaded a new section 0 and section 4.

The summary looks great to me.

I'm afraid we may need to have "section 0 of the Oresteia", "section 1 of the Oresteia", etc. at the very beginning of the files. If I were MC of a regular book, I would definitely enforce that policy since it's so important for screenless mp3 players, but perhaps we do things differently here in dramatic works? Catharine?

That's fine, Sarah. Do you want me to add those to the beginning of each file?

Ooo, I don't know. It's unusual because it's a collection of plays, rather than a single play. (Hamlet, for example, just starts with "Tragedy of Hamlet, Prince of Denmark, by William Shakespeare. Act 1.")

Since this is all part of a single project, then it makes sense to do something like "The Oresteia, Dramatis Personae/Part 1/Part 2/whatever, by Aeschylus. <LV intro.> The Oresteia, by Aeschylus. Part 1: Agamemnon, Part 1."

Basically, what Sarah said. :) Open to wording suggestions.

As for file names, may I suggest:
Title: 0 - Dramatis Personae
1 - Agamemnon, Part 1
2 - Agamemnon, Part 2 ... etc
Album will naturally be The Oresteia
Artist will be Aeschylus, tr. E. D. A. Morshead

OK, I've added "Section 1" etc. to the beginning and end of each file. The first one (file 0) is "Dramatis Personae." I've also renamed the files so that they use single, rather than double, digits. Finally, I added the translator after Aeschylus' name in the "artist" tag.

Hopefully that's everything and this project can now be catalogued.

 :9:

Thank you, Elizabeth! I would've done the editing - I just wanted to make sure all were in agreement before we did the work. Anyway, it's done, and we would not be here without your enthusiasm. Many, many thanks. :)

Catharine - I've never cataloged a dramatic work. Is there a spot for editors? If not, could you list gloriana and aradlaw as co-BC's?

Yup! Thanks for posting the notification to the page, Elizabeth!

If someone with intimate knowledge of who's really who would double-check the url=http://librivox.org/the-oresteia-by-aeschylus/]catalog page[/url] and make sure everything's as it's s'posed to be, I'd appreciate it.

I think it's now safe to delete all the files from this project, yes?

Catalog page looks good. Should be safe to delete all those files.

I've deleted all the notes and links from the MW.
