W O W !
A look into the comming future of online-Operating-Systems, and it's going to be free and open-source. So here is something for you, Hugh!

Make sure to check it out and smell the implications!!!

https://www.youos.com/
(click "Try a demo" - firefox or IE)

From the FAQ:
FAQ wrote:Why?
We set out to answer the following questions:
Wouldn't it be sweet if open source development was more like a multiplayer game, complete with rankings and all?
What are the implications of being able to share windows through a buddy list when we're working?
Is it even possible to build an OS that is built on sharing from the ground up? Like Kindergarten?
What if the OS itself was the community? Discuss.
We're still searching, and YouOS is the search engine. Well, it's not a search engine, but you get the analogy, right?

I swear I will never in a billion years figure out how any woman could find him "hot"

I was listening to the radio this morning (the strangest country station I've ever heard) and they were talking about World Jump Day...

http://www.worldjumpday.org

It sounds ium... a bit crazy... If I didn't have to get up at 3:39am I'd do it just to say I did it. :D

The bavarian police cars are really funny. There is a slogan written at the side of the mini-bus "Strong in life without alcohol and drugs - your police."
The problem: when they open the sliding door of the car you can only read: "your police - alcohol and drugs" :D

raynr that's FANTASTIC! Now... you suppose the folks responsible for putting the lettering on the vans might have ... pretty good visual sense or something? :D

Just when you finally got that David Hasselhoff scariness out of your head...

I just came across this woman's site, and I had to share.
You all need to listen to some of her songs for a good, deep belly laugh.

The scary thing is, I can almost kinda see the appeal for her stuff as a...er, novelty thing, but she has put out an awful lot of CD's for a novelty. It even said 2 of them were sold out.

Obviously she has a following somewhere, LOL. Probably with nerds like me who love cheesy stuff. Her stuff is Extremely campy but I don't think she realizes that. :D

http://www.wingtunes.com

you have to be a "member" to hear all of her songs but click on the "wing's picks" page for free samples...I originally checked it out because of the fact that there was an ABBA cover album and though it would be funny...just listen to the sample of dancing queen...I'm not sure 'funny' adequately describes it.

Oh, that crazy 'ol internet

I guess there's not much more I can say but check it out, it's hilarious. And very, very bizarre
