The name LAME is a recursive acronym for LAME Ain't an MP3 Encoder, reflecting LAME's early history when it was not actually an encoder, but merely a set of patches against the freely available ISO demonstration source code.

Sure. But it sounds like a 30-second video to me, unless I'm missing something.
"Welcome to LibriVox Tutorial #x. To download Librivox audio books, click on this link. Or you can click on this link to subscribe in iTunes. Thanks for watching!"
Anything else? Maybe details about searching the catalog. Maybe bits about how Archive.org interfaces with LV.
Thoughts?

Oh, it's really hard for newbies. They don't know what to do with a .zip or how to get the files into their audio player, and iTunes give them trouble....
And then people have trouble actually LISTENING to the files because they don't know how to get them into their iPods. I am serious. Or they play out of order because people don't know how to sort them by title tag. And they don't know how to make a playlist. And don't get me started on burning them to CD...

Oh, I see. Yeah, I can do that. At least the iPod stuff (because that's what I have and I'm not going to buy a new mp3 player just to make a video of it )

I post a lot about LibriVox. In those posts I try to remind SFFaudio readers what LibriVox.org is all about – but sometimes I forget that not everybody knows the whole story. Here’s an oddly calming, yet encouraging video that introduces the LibriVox ethos…
Upon further reflection I should also point out that LibriVox is certainly not a cult.
Well, not technically...
Great job, Daniel!
