I just realized that I forgot to add the five second silence to my file. Do you want me to upload a fresh copy, or will you add it to the one I already sent you?

Here's my version:

And, partly for fun, partly because it's fitting, I recorded a version en francais as well. Here it is:

Please let me know if you don't receive them.

I hope everyone has a great Canada Day! J'espere que tout le monde a une bonne fete national du Canada!

Andrew had the best idea ever...so I decided I should back him up and do a version in French as well.

So I sang it in French, which is linked here:

And I figured I should read it as well, cause as you already said, it helps with concentrating on the words. So here is the link to the version read in French:

I know this might be overkill considering I already sent in a version in English, but I thought it could be fun. Hope you don't mind too much, considering I felt a need to record it in French. Likely due to my Acadian roots. :)

This collection is now closed for submissions! Check back soon for the catalog page.

Many thanks to everyone who participated and lent their voices, whether spoken or sung, English or French, to this project!

And a special notice to our French speaking readers - come back in a week to read a French poem for Bastille Day!

Hi Annie:

I checked out my information and it is fine, but I noticed a couple of errors in the text and corrected below:

"in French by Sir Adolphe-Basile Routhier"

"In celebration of Canada Day, 2006, LibriVox volunteers bring you ten different recordings of O Canada!."
