Hello, Jennifer
Section 21 is uploaded. It's 15:01 long.
http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/le/theamericanhousewife_21_anonymous.mp3
I had some doubts, however. First, was I supposed to read the name of the section in the beginning? Because, even though it is in the book's summary, the subsections don't appear in the text itself. So, in my section, for example, while reading the text I didn't know where "Essences" finished, because it doesn't say it there. Second, should I read the numbers before each title?
I didn't read either, but if you think I should have, I can fix it. One way or another, I think it'd be nice to post about it in the first post, so people know what they should do, and it is done consistently throughout the book.
Thanks!

I say yes we should read the numbers before each title. (only add those in if you REALLY want to....)
And I say No to Reading the Subsection Titles since they are only listed in the Index, not the text.
I will edit the first post now.

Hi everyone, I'm new here, heard about you guys over at Julie Williams Voice Over Forum. I'm a freelance voice over guy, and I would love to help out, it keeps me in practice for narration and audiobook projects. I would love to do Section 00 and 01 to get my feet wet. I hope I did this right? I know it's probably somewhere in the rules, but here's a dumb question...Should I wait for confirmation on the sections I've chosen before I start voicing?

Since you are brand new, first you need to submit a test recording.
See instructions on the Newbie Guide to Recording.
http://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/1-Minute_Test
This is to check your settings and make sure everything is ok before you start to record.
And, yes - it's always better to make sure you've been assigned the chapter before you start recording, especially at first.
Welcome Aboard!

Sadclown is in charge of this here rodeo, so you'll have to wait for her to get back to you regarding this book. I'm just one of the nameless rabble.....
Look forward to listening to you - and again, welcome.
