Wait a minute now. Are you doing the narration? We need someone to read things like "Act 1, Scene 1, On a ship at sea; a tempestuous noise of thunder and lightning heard". To my knowledge, no one has done that yet.
Oh no, I was just asking about the file names for future reference, when all the voices are in and the files are done. I could do the narration, but wasn't planning on it... I believe that you claimed it, Great Plains. I wasn't trying to take it from you. I have started putting the audio together without the narration, since all the other voices have been done, and I can add the narration later. Was just getting a jump on things, that's all. Didn't mean to cause a stir! :D

Cool! Sounds like we're on the same page. Just making sure.

I'm not sure about the file names. Let me check on that and I'll get right back to you.

If you want to record the narration, I won't feel bad. I have my solo to focus on that is having trouble getting in due to my work schedule. Or I can record the narration. Either way.

Yeah, I'll check on that filename thing.

Okay, the file name should be:

tempest_act#_shakespeare.mp3

For example, tempest_1_shakespeare.mp3

So, one file per act.

8-)

Daniel,
I'll leave the decision about the narration up to you, since you have dibs on it. If you want to do it, that would be great. If you have too much on your plate and want, I can do the narration, no problem.

Thanks,
Wendel :D

Abigail Bartels wrote:I just wanted to let you know that I have finished the part of Iris, but the uploader isn't working, which is weird because it worked for my test clip. I sent a form to whoever's in charge of the uploader, but it might be another week or so before I can get the file uploaded. Weird...
Thanks for letting me know, Abigail. The delay is not a huge problem. We're still well ahead of our deadline.

Thank you for the reminder!

I did notice that. Updating the MW and the OP is a pain, though. But tis done now 8-)

(And, if I'm correct, all we have left is Stephano, Trinculo, and that bum narrator. :-P)

Cool. I'll send you the raw Audacity file then with labels to make it easier for you to pick out the bits you need to copy and paste.

After much delay, I have uploaded the narration part. I am so sorry for delaying this project.

Hi everyone:

I'll be taking over as BC for this project from Great Plains. I'm hoping to get this project finished up over the next few months.

Thanks, Daniel, for your narration!

wendeltopper, are you still working on the editing? If you'd like, I can take over - feel free to send me what you've got so far. If you'd prefer to stay on as editor, that's great - just let me know how much is completed. :)
