I'm here because I think this is a wonderful project. I have a BA in British Literature and am thrilled by the idea of getting the classics out to as many people as possible. I would possibly like to start with The Marriage of Heaven and Hell, by William Blake (it's my favourite poem).

Welcome, Shannon!
Our weekly poetry project is a great place to start reading (it's Twas The Night Before Christmas this week), and if you find you enjoy it you might like to suggest (or even coordinate) the Blake poem in the near future!
Or, read it on your own and submit it to our Short Poetry Project over in the "readers wanted" section.
Happy reading!

Hi Shannon and welcome to LibriVox! It's good to see another poetry lover here! I'm coordinating Shakespeare's sonnets if you're interested in reading a few.
