Could someone tell me how to pronounce Gott sei dank , please?

I'm in Three Men on the Bummel, with a cycle trip through the Black Forest, so I may be back for more.

My german is rusty to put it mildly but I do remember some basic pronunciation. Something like this:

Whereas story is processed in the mind in a straightforward manner, poetry bypasses rational thought and goes straight to the limbic system and lights it up like a brushfire. It's the crack cocaine of the literary world. - Jasper Fforde

Without wishing to get too far into the subtleties of Native German pronunciation:

GOT (exactly as the English word) ZIGH (rhymes with "sigh") DANK (exactly as the English word of the same spelling.

The emphasis should fall on the "GOTT" as the phrase of course means "God be thanked".

Kristin did it really good (not a bit rusty). Just to make things a bit more complicated:

Thank you all; that's fine ... and they all sound consistent, to my untutored ears.
