COMPLETED: [MYSTERY] Armadale, by Wilkie Collins - kb
Hi there,
I agree with stav that a pretty consistent volume throughout is best. But I don't know if you have to re-record it, you might just be able to raise the level in garageband. I only know how to do it in audacity.
I thought 23 was a little soft too, now that we bring it up, but again don't re-record it, maybe just see if you can make it louder in garageband.
sometimes bringing the mic closer increases the mouth/breathing noise, which is something you might want to avoid if you can. so i would try to keep the mic at the same distance and either speak louder (hard to do consistently) or see how you can change the level.

If you don't have much background noise, ampliphying is probably better than moving the mic, if everything else id going well.

OK, I tried to increase the volume. I think it is a bit better, I hope it will do because I really don't know how to increase it more. Tell me if you think it is better, because then I can use the same settings on section 23 and upload it again.

Here's section 4:-

Length 47:24
I should have said in my last post that I've broken the chapter in different places than those suggested in the magic window, to be more in keeping with the content. This middle section has the first two parts of the letter, with a short para before and after to top-and-tail it.
So part 1 (section 3) ends at: "Read it", he said. "And stop when I tell you."
Part 2 (section 4) ends at: He lay there, in the isolation of Cain, and looked back at them.
