Hi,

I hope it's for foreign languages, too : ) . I haven't seen anything non english, so may be I'm the first.

After some year's of theater work, it seems to be a great idea to read a complete book and publish it "open domain". Especially because a friend of mine is blind. She is very keen on audio books.

Of course I'm available, if somebody needs a speaker with weird german accent .

Ouch, it's been a long time since I tried to write in german -- hope it makes some sense :)

Anyway, welcome and feel free to suggest a book in german -- and also to sign up to read any of our english books -- we like accents and regional dialects around here :)

There are a number of Germans registered on LibriVox. If you fancy reading something German, why don't you post a suggestion (bearing in mind that it needs to be in the public domain) in the Next Books thread: http://librivox.org/forum/viewforum.php?f=1

There is currently a French recording project underway, someone wanted to do something in Italian, and there's been some interest in a German recording.

Oh, all right. I've just browsed the German Gutenberg Projekt, and I was inspired... I'll coordinate a project, but don't laugh. This one has a lot of memories for me: Winnetou I!
