[COMPLETE] Robert Burns 250th Anniversary - rg
I imagine that it's probably because compilations usually don't get marked as complete until they are ready to catalogue (when they need to be put in the correct order). However, this one is different in that the recordings are already in the right order, so I see no reason why the sections shouldn't be marked complete.

As Joseph doesn't seem to have been around for a while, I have added these submissions to the MW, and marked sections complete.

A suggestion for section 25, the Group sing of Auld Lang Syne.
A resurrection of Ruth's sung version of the same in the Weekly Poetry a few weeks ago, so us musically challenged folk can sing along with her

I think Joseph is going to come up with an accompaniment for this. My version was rather slow and soulful, and I'd think a rather more jolly version would be preferable for the group.

Hi, i would love to be a art of The Twa Dogs. I'm from Scotland, not too far from where Burns lived actually, so the accent should be quite faithful. Has anyone claimed the narrator yet? If not, i'd like that. If they have, any of the dogs would be good too.
Thanks

Please do go ahead, Craig. I have put you down as Narrator. I seem to have lost Joseph (who is BCing this collection) for the moment. I am sure he will be back soon.
As this is your first recording, would you like to do just a minute or two and upload it, so that we can just check that all the technical things are OK?

Thank you, Patti.
I have amended the filename of the first to
http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/rg/thecotterssaturdaynight_08_burns.mp3 as the server cannot handle apostrophes and doesn't like uppercase letters much either.

The PLinging notes are up for Sections 4 and 5. These are wonderful, Patti; good job.

I've spoken to craigbaynes about doing Caesar in The Twa Dogs (#11), and he is agreeable. He'll do the pasting together on Audacity once we've also recruited a Luath. Is this OK with the director/producer? Charlie Macdonald
I'm sure Joseph will be delighted. I will sign you up for Caesar, Charlie.
