Here's the link to chapter 8: http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/kb/sunshinesketches_08_leacock.mp3. The running time is 27:21.

I've downloaded these two sections and should be able to listen (hopefully) this evening.

Section 5:

3:18 - strange background noise - I don't know if it's noticeable enough to edit

Section 8:

ID tags for Artist and Album are flip-flopped
Title ID tag: "Attachment" needs capital A

14:27-14:38 - silence that needs to be removed.

Great reading on section 8! I really like your expression.

I took the liberty of putting section 8 in the MW.

Tricia, thanks for your notes. However, please don't take liberties with magic windows in my projects.

Thanks, Bob.

I got a PM from someone that section 7 is now actually a repeat of section 6. I double checked, and it's true - the ID tags and file name are chapter 7, but the recording itself is chapter 6.

Sorry about that. I'll correct it, and re-upload it tomorrow morning.

Hi. Thanks for the PL and the comments, Tricia. But we have a bit of a problem on chapter 8, then. 14:27-14:38 should be reading, not silence. There's a section missing, and I suppose I must have made a mistake in mixing in that 11-second track. I still have the track here in Audacity. However, the other problem is that after I finished the recording and uploaded it, for some unknown reason, I failed to say yes when asked to save, so I don't have the final version of a number of sections of the original Audacity recording, and I can't just remix the whole thing and upload it again.

Is there a way to mix the 11-second track into the MP3 recording? Or to reconvert the MP3 to an .aup file and add the track? Advice would be welcome.

With respect to the Artist and Album names on the ID3 tags, they're actually backwards in the instructions on the first page of the thread, and rather than using my common sense (it did occur to me to), I simply followed instructions. Hopefully, that won't be hard to change.

Here's chapter 8 again, with the missing track edited in and the ID3 tags fixed: http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/kb/sunshinesketches_08_leacock.mp3
. It's still 27:21 long. Thanks, Tricia, for the advice on how to splice in the track.
