A few comments:
- when posting, please follow the template in the first post (with the links, author, title, etc). It makes my job infinitely easier, as I don't have to go looking for the older posts)

- technical detail: your recording is a bit on the soft side. I think it would benefit from a little amplification, and/or levelling

- Is the title of the poem Sonnet VI, or Go from me?

hello Christopher, and welcome to LV!!

I listened to your recording. The reading was excellent, you have a beautiful voice.

The only thing I would consider is to normalize the track. I opened the file in Audacity, and it seemed to have a bit of DC offset, so normalizing should fix it. Please see the tutorial: http://librivox.org/wiki/moin.cgi/Amplifying

Also, for the filename, you don't need to write .mp3, as it gets added automatically. Depending on the software, you may end up with .mp3.mp3, which is what happened here.

1. always leave 5 seconds of silence at the end of the recording
2. It would be good to amplify the recording a little.

I amplified it and it is much better but unfortunately I could not amplify the recording anymore without clipping. I also added the silence. Thanks!

Edit: I listened to the temporary upload and it is much more quiet then when I listen to the recording in winap. Does this mean I re-uploaded incorrectly? The new audio sounds almost just as quiet as the old one.

Hi Rachel!

I had a look, and the waves certainly look higher, so I don't know why it sounds fainter than in your program. As for the actual volume, it might still be a bit low, but I'll have to run it through the Validator to make sure.

You might also want to check this page:
http://librivox.org/wiki/moin.cgi/Leveller
Which will tell you what to do to even out the volume, and can help increase the amplification.

I know this might look a but fussy, but you'll soon get the hang of it.
