i would like to read chapter 13, but: what do mc and lz stand for?

Hi noseprints,

A lot of abbreviations, I know...

MC = meta-coordinator. That's the volunteer who sets up the project in the Librivox (LV) database, and when everything is read & proof-listened he/she does all the behind-the-scenes stuff to get the project in the catalog to make it available to the whole world.

lz = that is the abbreviation for lezer - and that's me! I'm the MC for this project. On the LV uploader, you choose which folder to upload the recording to, and for this project it is my folder, so named "lz - lezer". The lz in the title makes it easy for me to see which are the projects I'm involved in.

BC = book-coordinator. That's Wassermann in this case. He does all the coordinating of the readers & proof-listeners, getting all the sections in etc. So he's the one who assigns sections. I'm sure he'll be along after the Christmas/New Year business is over.

anna, thank you. so, i'd like to be assigned chapter 13. i've noticed that the projected deadline is the end of the month. are you still hoping to finish by that date?

Hi noseprints -
You know, I'm sure Dirk (=Wassermann) won't mind if I assign it to you - so chapter 13 is all yours.
The deadline is also up to the BC - but since it is now 4 days away, it is not very likely that we'll meet it exactly. If you could just get the recording to us as soon as you've finished it, that would be great.

@all:

Leider meldet sich Phanzi nicht mehr um Kapitel 2 zu korregieren.

Könnte sich bitte noch jemand Kapitel 2 anhören und sein PL Feedback dazu abgeben?
Es geht jetzt darum, ob wir es so wie es jetzt ist für den Katalog übernehmen, oder ob wir das Kapitel für einen anderen Leser freigeben um eine bessere Aufnahme zu bekommen.

pszacherski meldet sich auch nicht mehr ... ließt auch die PM's nicht (mehr). Nach Ablauf der Deadline gebe ich das Kapitel wieder frei, WENN ich bis dahin nichts von ihm gehört habe.

mein wunsch zu lesen ist eben nicht immer 100% mit meinem terminkalender vereinbar (bei meiner chaotischen konstitution kein wunder!)
