Laura,

Ah no, of course you're right.

In that case, I'll do Hare and relinquish Frank. (Different voices not being my fort?).

Hi....I am enjoying working on my texts, but have not yet solved the mike USB problem as the 2nd one I bought had a USB adapter attached to the output for the mike and input for headphones wires....it seems that there is a hiss on the recording because of that. So I have to go back to FNAC in Paris and turn that in and look for a store that carries something with a direct USB outlet. A drag, but a typical kind of irritation in France...so I will be back with my recordings as soon as I get this solved!
I am a classical musician....mostly an opera coach although I play recitals with singers as well. I also write books on opera and French songs...these are published by Pendragon Press. I live in France, but do most of my work in the US!

Lokon, those three are yours. Thanks!

Mary, that's okay, no need to rush. I hope you get the mic issue resolved without too much more trouble!

This is very frustrating...I adore the Spoon River and can't wait to record my sections. However I have not been able to find the Logitech USB set in Paris, and as I mentioned, the one I got was really expensive and then on top of it, didn't work well. So I returned it today.

I know I can get one mid-May because I will be in Dallas then. So hang with me, and if I can get anyone to bring one over from the US on a trip before then, I will let you know.
