[RESOLVED] critique of pure reason
I think splicing would be fine. At least the listener gets to hear all of it.

Paul works at the Red Cross in Texas - I don't think he's going to be available for a while. Is there someone else who can do it?

You may be right, Esther, but I'm 90% sure I already did the splicing.Starlite wrote:http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/lm/critique_of_pure_reason_05_kant.mp3 (needs to be spliced to original)
Cheers,
Carl.
EDIT: I see you've already figured it out Sibella.
BTW, think some of these files are also missing the into. Would be good to also fix that if poss. (although it's maybe too big a job to worry too much).
American Psychology 1922-1947. It's the nearest thing to American Psycho that we are allowed to record.
I don't really know what the intro should be, but I could try? Do you know which ones are missing it? Is the whole thing missing? or just the disclaimer?

You could try listening on the archive page. No point in downloading them all if only some need it.

I can do this tonight if everything is ready to go. If this is the project I'm remembering, all the intros were recorded by d.e.wittkower and were a bit complicated. If you track down the original project thread there was a discussion about all this as I recall.Starlite wrote: Jo? anybody?

None of the ones I listened to had problems, so I'm not going to listen to all the others just in case - I HATE Kant.

And as far as I know, the files are fixed - at least the issue of the thread, cut-off files, is fixed.
