Sunshine Sketches of A Little Town, by Stephen Leacock

Chapter 2, downloading 128 kbps, the file is cut short, it's only 4 seconds long. Downloading 64 kbps works fine, you get the whole file. I tried the 128 kbps from the LibriVox catalog page ( http://librivox.org/sunshine-sketches-of-a-little-town-by-stephen-leacock/ ) and the archive page ( http://www.archive.org/details/sunshine_sketches_librivox ) and got the same results from both.

I will post if I find problems with the rest of the book. :)

Megan,

Sorry you are having problems with the 128 kbps download. I've just downloaded the 128 kbps mp3 version of Chapter 2 and got the whole file. Perhaps the problem is due to the difference in file size and your download just isn't completing for the larger file. Also, for future reference, the 64 kbps files are derived after upload to archive.org from the original 128 kbps mp3 file so if the 64 kbps file is OK then by default the 128 kbps has to be complete on the server as well. :)

If you really want the 128 kbps file, perhaps you can try again a bit later and maybe you will have better luck with your download.

Megan, your d/l must have been interrupted. It seems archive has a problem sometimes with larger files.

I'm glad it's intermittent though!
