The Book of Genesis, from the Young's Literal Translation of the Bible. [Translated by Robert Young].
Young's Literal Translation is a translation of the Bible into English, published in 1862. The translation was made by Robert Young, compiler of Young's Analytical Concordance to the Bible and Concise Critical Comments on the New Testament. Young produced a "Revised Edition" of the translation in 1887. After he died on October 14, 1888, the publisher in 1898 released a new Revised Edition. (Summary from Wikipedia)

I tried to go back and edit it, but it was too late to do so. My bad....

I'll get this one set up for you, Mark. Be back in a moment.
I remember how, in college, I got that part-time job as a circus clown, and how the children would laugh and laugh at me. I vowed, then and there, that I would get revenge.

Thanks, Leon! Yeah, I think the rest of the YLT is going to be MUCH easier to narrate than the books of the prophets. Man, those left me half out of breath most of the time, and they are definitely the most difficult part of the YLT to read. The sentence structure of this bad boy is VERY, VERY confusing. I think it will be smooth sailing from Genesis to Song of Solomon, and I think the New Testament will be pretty much easy as pie!

Thanks again for MC'ing, Leon!

POSTED TO THE WRONG THREAD!!! Has been re-posted to BBE Genesis thread! Mea culpa!

Lomond

nebgreen and LeonMire -

Noticed that no one had started PL'ing this so I thought I would pop in.

I also noted that the URL's identify this as the Young's Literal Translation instead of BBE.

All sections were free of audio and technical problems.

Section 1 - Good to go as it is.

Section 2 -

Time 8:21 Chapter 8 Verse 19

And every beast and bird and EVERY living thing of every sort which goes on the earth,...

Reading omits "every".

Section 3 - Good to go as it is.

Section 4 - Good to go as it is.

You are proving that BBE is much easier to read than YLT. I am curious how much time you spend preparing to reach a chapter, especially with the pronunciation of names, something you do very well. What references do you use as pronunciation guides?

I await the next sections. Mind you, if someone else wants to PL them, I won't feel rejected or slighted... :D

Greetings -

I just noticed that I posted my PL report for Genesis (above) to the wrong thread. It should have been over in the BBE thread instead of the YLT thread.

I will correct the situation as much as possible.
