Book 2, Chapter 9
formats 64Kbps & 128 Kbps confirmed, ogg vorbis unchecked
downloaded as individual files
Sound throughout entire file is distorted, as if run through a distortion filter or over-compressed and then expanded. There is a continual background noise of artifacts like birds chirping. Other chapters by the same reader are not corrupted.

[ACCEPTABLE] My Antonia
Listening now. It doesn't sound too bad to me. Have you tried to d/l it again? I wonder if an archive blip created your problem. (It does happen from time to time.)

John,
Maybe you meant Book 2 Chapter 8? It sounds like it was a victim of the old Audacity noise removal artifacts. In order to remedy this we would have to see if the reader has the original before noise removal.

Stickified!
yeah, 2 8 sounds like it was NC in old Audacity, but interestingly 2 7 (same reader) sounds fine. thanks for bringing this up John.
