How come I can't find anything in our catalog for Agatha Christie? Wikipedia says:
"She wrote her first detective novel, The Mysterious Affair at Styles, in 1916. It featured Hercule Poirot."

I count at least 8 novels that are PD on her Bibliography page.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agatha_Christie_bibliography

I am investigating BC'ing these two, both available on Gutenberg.
The Mysterious Affair at Styles 1916
The Mystery of the Blue Train 1928

Is there a problem with these?

Yes, there is an issue with her works which prevents us from recording them for the time being. Details are in the first post of this thread: viewtopic.php?t=11406

Ah, that explains it. Thanks. I doubt I'll be around in 1947. :(

It seems to me that the volunteers who would normally record these for LV should just post the recordings directly on archive.org. Wouldn't that get around the problem with Canadian copyright?

It certainly would. They wouldn't be LibriVox recordings then, and not get as much exposure as LV recordings do.
