COMPLETE: Edison, His Life & Inventions by Dyer - ge
We go until the 30th. We have this Friday off for the State Track Meet so I am planning on sleeping late. I don't like tea so I haven't done the hot tea with honey thing, but I found that a Hot Toddy works pretty nicely
English doesn't borrow from other languages. It follows them down dark alleys, knocks them over, and goes through their pockets for loose grammar.

I will be taking over as MC for this project as real life has hit Gesine hard.
If you have any questions, please PM me.
Jazbees, maybe it is time to send some PMs to some readers who have not been around lately?

Hey gang,
As I wrote a little over a month ago, I'm preparing to push some of these sections back into "the wild" for other readers to claim because I haven't heard from some readers in about a month. If you are one of the few who responded to my PM a couple weeks ago, your sections will stay assigned to you.
That said, I'm more than happy to keep other folks assigned to their sections. All you need to do is a) respond to my PM from a couple weeks ago, and b) agree to have your section(s) recorded by the end of June, which is the target completion date for this project. If you respond before someone else claims the section that was previously yours, you'll get it back. If someone else gets to it first, I encourage you to take another open section if one is available.
As I (and many others) have said before, there is no shame in admitting that you can't complete a section. I completely understand how life jumps up and bites people sometimes, and it's often helpful to let some things go in those situations. If you need to take a step back, that's fine. On the flip side, if you have some extra time and can take more than one of the soon-to-be-available sections, it would be very much appreciated.
Thanks to Esther for stepping in to help while Gesine takes a personal break. There aren't that many sections left. Let's crank through them, beat the deadline, and get this important volume into the catalog. Remember, we have Edison to thank for inventing the microphone and ultimately giving us the ability to make Librivox a reality.
Cheers!
Justin
