A Call: The Tale of Two Passions, by Ford Madox Ford (1873 - 1939)
The story of an English gentleman's relationship with two women. Ford's themes are reminiscent of Henry James: the tensions between desire and social conventions and expectations; the dilemmas when personal moral values are challenged by life's unexpected turns and tribulations. (Summary by Anthony Ogus)

IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the number of languishing projects on our server, we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't recorded anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).

Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process unless you are the BC or PL. Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

You don't have a tilde to indicate you need a DPL, but if you are looking for one I would like to do it.

Here we go then - Section 1 posted. Please note that although the Gutenberg text ascribes the book to Ford Madox Heiffer, I have used the name which he changed to (Ford Madox Ford), since he is better known under that name. The Gutenberg catalogue lists the book under that name.

I am sorry that, post your approval of section 1, I found that my pronunciation of the name Ellida was inconsistent, so I have I have made minor alterations at 10.04, 19.49 and 20.16 and reposted the section.

You need to put in the MW "Title" field, not the title of the book, but what the section contains. So section 1 should say, "Part I, Chapter 1." Sections should also be identified that way in the intro, where the intro template says, "Section title." I'm sorry I didn't quite catch that. I've put Section 1 back to See PL Notes

Sec. 2 intro (and title field) should say, Part I, Chapter 2. Etc.
Just one other thing in this section,
6:46
“…as her sister Ellida said…” : Ellida pronounced the inconsistent way.
In paragraph beginning “But there was no knowing…”
