2:00 You read 'for good or ill,' which sounds correct to me. The text reads 'or good or ill.'

6:18 I hear 'judgement to [or something like it] decreed.' The 'to' or whatever it is is a little bump in the actual text.

9:00 You say 'elusive' instead of the correct 'evasive.'

9:48 Your call: I say 'lugubrious' 'loo-goo-bree-us.

10:20 You record "to himself' where the text reads 'and himself.' (I wonder if the Gutenberg text runs off a bit from the original at times.)

12:20 "Had he betrayed himself?" Missing 'had.'

13:40, 14:30, and 19:12 'Al-bin-i-a, not the country.

14:40 "a moment longer' rather than 'a moment later.'

15:30 Missing 'find time perhaps for---'

17:50 I hear "Oh dear old...' whereas the text reads 'You dear old...'

18:38 'his emotion' rather than 'this emotion.'

I am sorry, but I can't accept un-edited files. The protocol is for you to record, proof-listen, edit your own files, and run through checker to make sure your tech specs are right, before you upload them, and to send them in with the correct file name, (copied and pasted from the First Post), changing only the section #. Your proof listener will send PL Notes of any further significant errors found (if any). It would be impossible for us to put books together if readers expected others to shoulder the responsibility of fixing unedited files, renaming them, etc. Please try again. OK. There's a harsh lesson learned - it won't happen again.
I corrected errors as I went, but didn't go back through the whole thing again to ensure no problems. The only thing I appear to have done right was to use Checker!
The business with renaming was simply because it took well over a minute to upload the sample, and I was trying not to overload your servers.
I absolutely get that you guys want it right to reduce your own caseload.
My apologies.
It will be a day or so before the next version comes through.
