Hi.
My name is Denise, I'm a retired radio broadcaster, I'm live in Brazil and I would love to volunteer in my language, Brazilian Portuguese, reading some of our literary classics.
I'm glad to be part of this forum.
Thanks.

bom dia Denise :)

great to have another Portuguese reader for our forum. We have currently two group projects in Portuguese running and one multilingual project, maybe you want to help out there with a section or two. It's a good way of getting to know the forum and how things run here.

> Histórias e sonhos: contos, de Lima Barreto: (choose any section that is still OPEN in the first post, then reserve it in the project thread) viewtopic.php?t=99110
> O Guarany: Romance Brasileiro, de José de Alencar: (also here, choose any OPEN section) viewtopic.php?t=92883
> Multilingual Short Works Collection 037 - Poetry & Prose: (here you can choose your own text, but please post the source in project before you record, so we can check whether it's acceptable for our forum) viewtopic.php?t=103423

However, before you start recording, we strongly advice to complete a one-minute-test first. This is to check that your technical settings are all up to LV standard.
You can read all about it here (Portuguese version): https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=Teste_de_1_minuto
Please post the test in the Test recording forum: viewforum.php?f=21 and someone will check it and give you feedback or advice if needed.

Good luck and have fun

Sonia
