It would be great if you recorded the footnotes. Thanks.

Linda, am I right in thinking that all the outstanding claims are now more than 6 months old..? If so, and you haven't heard from claimants recently, I reckon it might be a good time to do a round of orphaning ... recycle claims to new readers. Only, this IS such a neat book, and it's past the halfway point on chapters completed already -- it's a shame to let it sit *too* much longer. :D
There's honestly no such thing as a stupid question -- but I'm afraid I can't rule out giving a stupid answer : : To Posterity and Beyond!

We have some sections that has become available to be reclaimed.

Interested readers most welcome.

EDIT: Linda with so many sections unclaimed I will move this over to Readers Wanted.

I can do section 3, but not right away (2-4 weeks maybe?). If this is OK, sign me up. :)

Hi Sensitive Steve and welcome to the project and to LV, I have put you down for Section 01. In the first post of this thread you will find all the information to help you with your recording but if there is something your not sure of please feel free to throw us your questions.

Before submitting your first recording it is a good idea to check your settings etc. with sending in a test file, this page on the Wiki should help you out:
http://librivox.org/wiki/moin.cgi/HowToRecord

The other thing is when you send your file, what name would you like displayed on the catalog page.

Happy recording Sensitive Steve, great to have you on board.

Lucy :)

Thanks Lucy, for the friendly welcome and I will definitely let you know if/when I have any problems/questions.

I'm looking forward to my assignment, it's actually one of my favorite things of Whitman's ;-).

Steve

Oh, and Sensitive Steve is my handle so I'm happy to have that used as my designation for whatever purposes.

Here's section 3: http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/lb/specimendays_03_whitman.mp3
29:00
I am willing to redo the first part if Linda/Lucy want me to. I'm getting over a cold... seemed OK once I got going, but the first few minutes may be a bit rough.
