We have no inside line of communication. Still biting nails, but there is more visible evidence of progress. It looks like direct, manual uploads of files are now allowed at Archive.org, so people watching there will notice there are new things on Archive again, even apart from the Wayback Machine. 
Our upload and cataloging tools use Archive's API, though, which has not been turned on yet. Hopefully that's what they're working on now - doing security checks of that before they turn it back on again. No inside information, but it seems probable enough. We've seen that some of our .zip file downloads are working again, too, so they may be continuing work on that feature too.
