The Phantom Ship, by Frederick Marryat (1792 - 1848)
A saga retelling of the fable of the Ancient Mariner/Flying Dutchman.
Set in the mid-17th century we follow the exploits of Philip Vanderdecken, the son of the captain of the Flying Dutchman, as he attempts redeem his father's reputation, rescuing him from a life of eternal suffering. Philip is employed by the Dutch East India Company and sets sail on a series of adventures that include sea battles, shipwrecks, and an encounter with a werewolf. (Summary by Andy Sames)

Target completion date:

Prooflistening level: Standard
Prospective PLs, please see the Guide for Proof-listeners.

IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the number of languishing projects on our server, we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't recorded anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).

Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process unless you are the BC or PL. Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

Hi Christine, I hope you enjoyed your retreat! Please find ready for PL Chapter 3 of The Phantom Ship. Amine seems to be quite a strong, firm female presence, and she knows her fathers weakness well.
Cheers,
Andy

Chapter 3:
16:37 should be "as it fell from thy unconscious hands"; I heard "as it fell from my unconscious hands"
