Prooflistening level: Standard
Prospective PLs, please see the Guide for Proof-listeners.

IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the number of languishing projects on our server, we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't recorded anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).

Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process unless you are the BC or PL. Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

Note to potential PLers ...

This book was written by an author from my home town. I found it while at our local historical society last weekend to make arrangements for an open house for my mom (her 90th birthday is coming up soon). You'll find the poems short and positive, written with love for nature and the people that surround the author now (and in the past).

I have listened to all the sections against the original and I know that I have occasionally misread or omitted words. I've fixed things that I thought changed the meaning, but if you see others, please let me know.

I don't strive to read poetry word perfect ... so as long as it sounds OK and makes sense, I'm looking for standard (not word perfect) PLing here.

Thanks for listening!

Such sweet poems!
Sections 1-3 are PL OK

I thought I'd get further, but got a late start, with a busy weekend coming up. I'll get through these though.

Had some free time this afternoon, so glad to mark these all PL OK.
I few minor textual deviations, but nothing that is needing correction, I think.

I do note a typo in Section 11 for Sabbath

Thanks for letting me listening to this delightful book of verses!
