An airplane came by while I was recording. I had something handy to pass the time...

This is what you get when you have to read about someone called Professor Krapp...

I had to say those two lines over again because I was about to laugh outright.

Haha!

If the Professor is German, his name is pronounced somewhere between 'crap' and 'crop.' That might help.

I already submitted the section with the pronunciation in the clip.

But he only showed up those two times.

Next time I run across anyone called Krapp, I'll remember that.

Thank you!

They can be. My family rescued a tiny one while we were on vacation at the beach, and none of the shelters were able to take him. But fortunately at our vacation rental there was an enclosure we could use.

We ended up taking him home, and naming him Jiji.

Then Mom researched cats, especially kittens, and found that they do better with another kitten. Having another one teaches them both not to bite and scratch. This other one is called Fujimoto.

That was one of our more exciting vacations...

Have a good day!

A lovely way to get a new cat. I once succumbed to the lure of a second cat when my sister came home with a tiny ball of fluff that she’d rescued from a group of boys who were using her as a football… My sister already had two cats, but I only had one, so I was “It.”

Sadly, I haven’t had a cat for many years (in a no-pets condo, plus my son is allergic). But I’m still a cat person at heart.

Cheers,
Winnifred
