COMPLETE: The Scarlet Pimpernel by Baroness Emma Orczy-ce/tg
I have too many commitments and need to let some things go, so I need to back out of the narrator read for section 4. Sorry...

Here's the narration for Chapter 27. It's 13:54 and 13.35 MB.
I ended up reading all of the dialogue to try and keep a good flow. Let me know what you think!
thanks,

I don't think that there are any specific bits I need done more than others. There is still so much to do with this one, so just pick away.tpincombe wrote:Yes, I think I could do another one. What do you need most?

Here's the link for Chapter 4 narration It's 14.5 megs, and it's 15 min 50 seconds.
I played around a bit with the French accents in the dialogue for my own amusement and others. If you're still looking for the stable boy you can use my voice for that too if you like. Let me know if I need to record that separately.

Tiffany,
Thanks, I prefer to have a different person voice each part, but feel free to pick up some parts on different sections. If I don't have anyone else do that part, I may use your voice on it though.
Thanks,
Jason

Wow, a month between posts, sorry this won't be completed by your birthday shabam
If I am reading the magic window correctly, it seems the narrator for chapters 15 & 29 is/are free. I would like to try one of these.

Do you want one or both? They are both free and yours if you like.
This book is moving a little slower than I expected. Not sure if that is because there is already an edition in the archives or if it is because of the dramatic nature of it. Or maybe it is me

I will try 29 first and see how I do, I hope I'm not being too ambitious here

Dramatic stuff ALWAYS moves slowly, often painfully so. All I can advise is that you keep on top of the people who have signed up for stuff and feel free to re-open parts that appear to be abandoned. (I have no idea whether this has actually happened here or not - I've not been paying terribly close attention.) If you haven't heard from a reader in a couple of weeks, it's standard operating procedure to send them a PM reminding them that they've signed up for [part, chapter, whatever], and asking if they are still interested. Then state that if you haven't heard anything from them by [some date, usually another 1-2 weeks from the date of sending this PM], you will re-open the [part, chapter, whatever].shabam wrote:This book is moving a little slower than I expected. You can also try talking up your project in other areas of the forum. How excited you are that this is going forward and how it would be so fantastic to get other people involved in it! Etc etc.
At any rate, don't worry too much. Check out virtually any other dramatic works thread and look at the general progress rate. It's usually pretty darn slow.
